Our workshop is in Skibbereen. From there we cover the towns and townlands of West Cork, from Bantry and the Mizen across to Clonakilty, Bandon and Kinsale, and into Cork city when the job suits. Where the house is doesn’t change how we work. Marius comes to your home for the first consultation, measures the room himself, and comes back to fit what he designed.
The houses vary more than the towns do. Stone cottages with thick walls and deep reveals, farmhouses with big square rooms, townhouses with long narrow kitchens, estate houses from the seventies to the nineties, and new houses and extensions with the kitchen at one end of an open room. Everything is cut to fit the room in front of us, so a sloping ceiling or a corner that was never square is a detail, not a problem.

Where does the first consultation happen?
At your home, and it’s free. Marius comes out, looks at the room, measures it himself and brings finish samples so you can see colours in your own light. If you’d rather see the workshop first, that can be arranged by appointment in Skibbereen. There’s no obligation either way.
Do you work in Cork city?
Yes. We take jobs in Cork city and on its edges, though West Cork is where most of our work is. If you’re in the city and want a kitchen measured, designed and fitted by the same person, call and talk it through with Marius.
What kind of houses do you work in?
All of them, honestly. Farmhouses, cottages, townhouses, estate houses, new houses and extensions. What they share in West Cork is that very few rooms are square, so everything is measured and cut to fit rather than forced in with filler strips.
